This tour is for anyone interested in getting out of London for a day and seeing the British Countryside. The cost of the tour includes travel and entrance to all exhibits. The day starts early, so be sure to get a good night sleep the night before! The day starts when the Astral Travel bus picks you up from your hotel (usually around 6:30am). The bus may have to make a quick stop to switch passengers around based on which tour is being taken. Then you're off to the countryside!

The first stop is Stonehenge. You are given 45 minutes to explore the Stonehenge. This is more than enough time to explore the Henge and have a quick browse through the gift shop. The next stop is the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. You are again given an hour to wander around the Well and climb the Tor. I would have liked to have had more time to explore the Well and Tor. I chose to climb the Tor, which left me with little time to fully appreciate the scenery and the gardens. It would have been nice to have an extra 15 minutes to do some more exploring. If you chose not to climb the Tor, you have more than enough time in the gardens, but you miss out on a great view from the top.

After re-boarding the bus, it's a short jaunt to the Glastonbury Abbey. You are given an hour and a half to wander around Glastonbury, eat lunch, and see the Abbey. I would have liked a lot more time in Glastonbury. I found I had sacrifice seeing some of Glastonbury to make it to the Abbey, even after getting my lunch to go and eating it while wandering around the Abbey. Our final stop was the Henges of Avebury. These stones are the lesser known stone henges just north of the better known Stonehenge. You are able to spend 45 minutes wandering the Henges and seeing the town. There isn't a lot around the Stone Henge to see, so this is ample time to hike around the Henge.

You finally return to England around 6:30-7pm. I would have been willing to return later to be able to see more of Glastonbury. Despite not having enough time in Glastonbury, this tour is one of the best of its kind. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It's an added bonus that you get picked up and dropped off at your hotel.
