This was an absolutely wonderful adventure to the Naapali coast and to the Forbidden Island of NiiHau. We spent seven hours on the boat sightseeing with a wonderful crew and captain. We saw dolphins, dolphins, and more dolphins so close you could have touched them (the boat is too high off water). We were also delighted to get a wonderful show from a baby humpback whale that was very frisky and very interested in our boat! The little guy came within 20 yards of us and, of course, Momma had to get in between the boat and baby, so we got an even better view of her!
Our ride started at 6:30am and we were fed a nice little breakfast. When we went to snorkel, we were lucky to get a prime spot and we were treated to all kinds of creatures swimming below us. I was a little disappointed that the buffet lunch was set up while we were snorkeling because the adults that didn't snorkel long or at all had eaten all the food before my children (who were last out of the water) were able to eat any lunch; I figured that for the price they should have been served a meal also. All in all, I thought it was one of the "experiences of a lifetime" that we try to give our girls on vacation.
