Sid Richardson Museum

The Sid Richardson Museum is located in Sundance Square, the downtown shopping, arts, entertainment center. This is a nice area to park and stroll through. The museum is the home of western art most notably of Frederic Remington and Charles Russell. We enjoyed visiting here and even bought a Remington print which is now framed and over our fireplace. We had a surprise in that we parked at the base of the Wells Fargo building and entered the street level through the first floor lobby. In the lobby is an original Wells Fargo stagecoach. The building is located at 201 Main.

We all enjoyed the excursion through this part of town. This is one art museum that kids don't argue about visiting because it is about cowboys and Indians. And the stagecoach in the building where we parked was an extra plus for the kids.
