Mullet Bay Beach sits on the site of the hurricane-destroyed resort Mullet Bay. Though the resort sits in ruins, the beach is still very popular, as is the golf course. The waters are clear - crystal clear! The sand is soft. Rocks line the mouth of the bay so there is great snorkeling for the adventurous swimmer. The water is calm and serene for those who want to relax.
There's a restaurant on the premises - a grill and a bar. They made the best ribs we had on the island (and this is after four tries at other places)! And the cheapest... $7.00 for a rack of ribs, fries, and a salad.
Mullet Bay is a great alternative to the bustling Orient Beach. These two beaches have made our favorite all-time beaches.
