When I decided to go bungee jumping, I felt very nervous and excited. The price of 1400Bht is sure worth it.
As I was brought to the place, I was kind of disappointed to see the height (60km). The view from below is kind of low, and I expected something higher. So the people there asked me to empty my pockets and took my weight, so that they would know what type of line to use.
Then I was brought up in a lift. My God! It sure looks high up from the top, as I could see mountains and the beautiful blue ocean. It sure was windy. Boy, do I have second thoughts, but is too late to change my mind. My first step to "suicide" makes my heart jump out from my skin. But as I drop further, the fear is gone and I’m actually enjoying being tossed around, and, regretfully, it is over in less than 2 or 3 minutes. I have to grab the pole for the people to pull me down. The feelings of my first step towards jumping will always remain fresh in my mind.
Advice: Do not eat before bungee jump. Thank God I only ate a sandwich, so I didn't throw up, but my stomach felt queasy.
