The Gallery
The Gallery, rightfully named, is a fairly recent addition to downtown Cartersville. Since its first opening in 2002, it has been one of my favorite stores to stop in and visit. Though I am no aficionado of fine art, I always enjoy seeing new works. There certainly is no shortage of them at The Gallery.
The building itself is as bright and colorful as the artwork you will find inside. Once inside, you will most likely find Beth, the owner, and maybe her children as well. The artwork here is all vibrant, funky, and colorful. More modern-style pieces than classics. There are all types of mediums, from photography to pottery and anything in between.
As with all great pieces of original artwork, there are hefty price tags on most pieces. However, there is no entrance to simply walk in and look around. And you will most certainly not be looked down upon if you aren’t interested in buying. Beth is simply happy to see someone interested in this amazing art. There's no high-pressure, commission-based selling here. Just artists and art lovers !
