If you're familiar with Barnes & Noble, then you'll probably know what to expect from this one - it offers the same great selection and cozy atmosphere of other stores in the chain. If you've never been in a Barnes & Noble and are more familiar with small local bookstores and mall-based stores like Waldenbooks, then you're in for quite a surprise. The large bookstore offers a huge selection of books on any topic imaginable. Bargain tables near the front of the store help you find great deals. There are several comfortable seating areas that allow you to sit down and browse through the books, or just hang out for a while. It's a reader's dream location.
The Barnes & Noble store is part of Genessee Valley's new outdoor shops area, so you'll need to leave the mall to find it, or just drive directly to Barnes & Noble. The whole area has a nice feel to it, with soft lighting and spacious walkways.
The store is open until 11 every day, which is nice to see in an area where most stores shut down at 9.
