My cousins came up with the idea to take us up Mount Diablo. I wasn't disappointed at all! If you're really into seeing the scenery and seeing loads of beautiful landscapes, this is definitely a neat place to go. I didn't make it all the way up the mountain, but I made it up far enough to see miles in all directions. The farther up the mountain you go, the better the views get, obviously. There are places you can pull over and park and have a picnic, as well as loads of different places to get out and take different pictures. The official website for Mount Diablo gives lots of information about the park, like days that are best to see the farthest, information about the museum at the top, and many other things.
