Tiendesitas

Description

Tiendesitas is a big shopping complex of clothes and shoes, pets and pet supplies, food, plants, arts and antiques, and more. It is so convenient to shop here because the shops are grouped into "villages" that are categorized according to what they sell - like the pet village, arts and antiques village, etc. There is an area of interest here for everyone in the family. My husband and I love coming over to Tiendesitas to look at decors for the house. We also find good quality but inexpensive shirts in the clothing boutiques here. Being dog lovers, we enjoy looking at the new puppies and watching dog shows, which are conducted by different canine clubs in one of the open spaces there about twice every month.

The place is also pet-friendly so you don’t have to leave your pet at home while you shop. But the best merchandise to go for here are the arts and antiques. Instead of scouting around in the provinces of the Philippines or the rest of Asia, you can discover a lot of treasures here at really reasonable prices. You can spend the whole day looking at Chinese vases, Moroccan chests, copper kettles, music album collections, old coins and watches, and a whole lot more. Furniture prices are equally reasonable and generally lower than the malls'. You can also bargain for lower prices than those in the price tags. Just to give you examples of the prices of the antiques, my husband and I bought a 1950s altar table made of Narra for 4,500PHP, a nice Narra chest with mother of pearl inlay for 6,000PHP, and a wood-and-capiz 3-panel divider for 7,500PHP.

Even if you go hungry after shopping for hours, food stalls abound the complex. Sample Filipino delicacies, fruits, grills, desserts, and many other dishes. What’s more, you don’t have to rush if you need to shop here. Tiendesitas shops are open from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
