Description: Many people come to Florida to fish. For a while, this Guide worked in the Marina at Clearwater Beach. Many charter and day (party) boats go out of that marina. Go down to the Marina the afternoon before you want to go out and watch what is going on. Pick a boat that looks successful. The 'party' boats refer to a relatively large group of people going out together on a boat, each having paid a fee. This isn't the 'Monkey Business' type boat. The charter boats usually take out 6 to 8 people for a lot of money. Thursdays are often reduced rate days on the charter boats.
Ask a lot of questions! Do not take along family members 'for the ride'. Likely they'll get seasick and hate you for it. Send them to the beach.... Oh, by the way, don't drink grape soda or eat scrambled eggs prior to going out or you'll get sick too!
