A very charming B&B directly on the beach - includes gormet breakfast (even the locals come to eat there). Has exotic Bali-style showers, and they provide sarongs for your beach cover-up. Short 2-minute drive to several terrific restaurants. Can walk into Tamarindo for nightlife. Some surfers were staying there, but it's not for the rowdy. Don't think they take kids. Has a small pool. Great, quiet place. Prices were moderate for area.
