It is a circus by the McDonald's of circus, Cirque du Soleil. This is their latest touring show and it is my favorite out of the three I have seen; O and Varekai are the others. There is no question that it was a good show. There is no such thing as a bad Cirque du Soleil. Though don't go expecting a regular Barnum & Bailey; these may even confuse you with their story lines, like with Quidams' (another Cirque du Soleil show), with a headless dude carrying an umbrella and a hat.
CORTEO Acts: Though there are many acts in Corteo I will only tell you about two of them, Chandeliers and Juggling. Chandeliers is probably my favorite act in Corteo. It has six women on three flying chandeliers that are fit for the Grand Opera in Paris. They preform death-defying stunts, such as spinning and bending around the bars. The juggling act is probably the most energetic part . There are half a dozen men juggling circles from one side of the stage and throwing it to the other side. The act comes to a climax when a man, at light speed, places more than a dozen hoops thrown to him by his fellow jugglers.
The Story: The story is of a dead clown's funeral, so throughout it you will see angels and other items like that. Music: It has my favorite music so far. It starts out slow and very operatic but ends on a high note with almost jazz-like music in order to show the joy of the clown.
