Resort Activities

Once you arrive at Club Med Kabira Village, you'll instantly want to relax and ease your mind at the property's pool, bar, or beachfront. But wait! While strolling through the facilities, it is hard not to notice an endless list of sports or tours to try! On the property there are numerous activities available, ranging from slow to adventurous!

If the water is calm, you can take a snorkel trip by boat, which conveniently departs every 30 minutes. See stunning coral and vibrantly colored fish that inhabit the Pacific Ocean. If you prefer to stay dry, take a kayak out instead! If you want a little more speed, try your hand at windsurfing! The ocean breeze provides the perfect conditions for a good zip across the water. If you're not sure how to windsurf or you just wind to fine-tune your technique, the resort has staff on hand ready to give you lessons, no matter what your level of experience. If you strive to be a Wimbeldon contender, go hit up the tennis courts and enjoy tennis even after dark, as their courts are also lighted. If you've never held a racket, there's hope for you too! Lessons are available. Personally, I've always had a thing for Robin Hood, so I tried my hand at archery! Tam-Tam, the archery instructor from Indonesia, was friendly and supportive as he gave me tips and pointers to get my arrows to the bullseye. Only an hour later, I was ready to enter the tournament! If you're the next Tiger Woods (Or want to be), you can sign up for the golf tour at the Discoverie Center.(for additional charge).

The Discoverie Center offers a variety of tours throughout Ishigaki Island for nominal fees. You can take a ride on a glass-bottom boat through Kabira Bay and see half of the world's 500 coral species directly below, as well as the fish that call it home. Or you can witness old-fashioned Japanese living while riding on a cart pulled by water buffalo. Both tours will allow you free time for souvenir shopping or maybe presents for yourself! Most lessons and activities on the property are free of charge, so you don't even have to bring your wallet. Tours booked through the Discoverie Center are an additional cost, however, they can be charged to your room account and settled upon checkout. If you're a land-lubber or fishy, Club Med Kabira Village has an array of activities to keep you busy and amazed!
