In the centre of the town there are a large assortment of shops, restaurants, and bars catering to everyone's taste. There are ski slopes aplenty here, and ski and snowboarding lessons are available for anyone who wishes to learn. There are instructors for most languages, and they are very nice and get you learning as fast as possible. There is also an ice rink for anyone who would rather stay off the slopes.
The cinema and video shops can entertain anyone who does not want to spend a lot of time on the slopes or too much money. The video shops were very important for me and my friends when we were there a few years earlier, when there were avalanches and it was not possible to ski.
This is one of my favourite places to visit in the world, as every time I have been, the scenery has been a little bit different and the experiences I have had there are different.
