Walking the Shores of Lake Geneva

  • October 7, 2006

You can have quite a pleasant walk around parts of the shores of the lake. Close to the Town there are nice boardwalks and piers to explore. There are plenty of important buildings to admire on the way and if the weather's good you'll have a view of the mountains in the distance. In fact everything in Geneva seems to be in walking distance as the City is quite compact, walking is definitely the best way to see the sites...

Boat trip on Lake Geneva

A range of long and short boat trips are available on Lake Geneva, I went for a 2 hour trip which took in a number of sites along the shores. Historical buildings, parks, beaches, etc. were pointed out in the leaflet provided and via the multilingual audio commentary.
