Over-rated but better than average for a public course. The scenery and landscape is beautiful but the condition of the fairways and greens is as I said, just above average. I think it's overpriced but maybe that's just because of the cost of real estate in Sedona.

The course is in excellent condition, beautifully carved in the hills, and surrounded by unparalleled views of the world famous red rock formations. The greens are very large (bent grass), in perfect condition, and roll true. Tee boxes are varied in location to provide a fair round for the amature beginner or scratch golfer. The course rewards great shots and extracts its due for a misplaced shot. The sand bunkers are well-maintained with fluffy sand. Cart service is adequate and frequent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way.
