Readers of the classic Chinese novel, Dream of the Red Chamber, may have tried to imagine the Great View Garden in their minds. It was designed to resemble the famed garden in the book. The familiarly named yards, pools, bridges, and pavilions come alive in the garden. However, some visitors may be disappointed as the real garden might not be as beautiful as the image conjured up by the book.
