Butterfly Rainforest

The Butterfly Rainforest is a part of the Florida Museum of Natural History and is located on the University of Florida Campus. Visitors can meander through an expansive screened area filled with tropical plants and hundreds of free-flying butterflies. The exhibit also includes a place to view butterfly chrysalises as well as a large collection of preserved butterflies and moths.

Strolling along the path surrounded by butterflies is a really enjoyable experience. It’s also a great place to get close up pictures of butterflies and moths that would otherwise be difficult to find.
