American Girl attempts to be very pro-girl with books about each doll and stories galore, with various doll outfits and clothes that match the doll. You can see the buying opportunities building can’t you? You make reservations well in advance of your planned trip through their site for lunch and the show. Lunch is very nice with a special seat for your doll and the food is good. The show is what I thought was long and dull, it is a pajama party, but the girls in the audience loved it! There is a hair saloon, for the dolls of course, which when you first arrive you should make an appointment because believe it or not this is the first thing to fill up and it may be hours upon hours before you can get your doll in. There is a photo studio where they take pictures of the girls with their dolls and then of course have many packages available to purchase including putting the photo on what appears to be the recent American Girl Magazine. There can also be quite a line to this also. So go there first thing in the morning! Even though the dollars will bleed (or rather hemorrhage) from you, it is a TERRIFIC time for the girls in your life!
