The Everglades is a natural swampland situated in the south west of Florida. It has been turned into a National Park, showing its beauty for everyone.
There is one not to be missed; The Airboat Ride. We did take a tour on an airboat a few years ago. We had chosen Everglades Safari park to take the ride. A professional tour guide takes you through the swamp and beautiful flora and fauna of the Everglades. The airboat ride is spectacular. During this ride you’ll see many alligators, beautiful nature, and you’ll see breathtaking panoramic views.
After the boat tour, you can watch the Alligator & Wildlife Nature Show. See how they are wrestling with an alligator. After the show you can hold Snappy, the alligator, and take pictures of Snappy. It has been a few years now since when we visited the Everglades Safari Park and I held Snappy then, so you can imagine how big this alligator must be right now. They properly change "Snappy" time after time.
You can watch over 100 alligators on their own "Island Resort", the Alligator Island. If you have time left there is the Jungle Walking Trail. You can spot birds, some reptiles, and a unique flora.
All the things I have described are included in the Eco-Adventure Tour. It costs $20 for adults and $10 for children. I can tell you that you have a lot of fun.
The only negative thing were the mosquitoes. They seemed especially fond of my European blood! Seriously though, you do need to take precautions.
