As aforementioned in the overview of this journal, this park’s camping facilities are sure to please people who adore the outdoors. It has 92 Class A campsites complete with accessible toilets and a fairly new shower house. The shower building with flush toilets is available from May 1 through October 31. Each site also has a grill and a table too. Campsites are located in either the dense wooded areas or near a large playground. In addition, there is a trailer dump station near the entrance of the campground, along with a dumpster to get rid of any and all garbage.
In 2003, this park put in a new water system. This allowed greater water availability and provided for spigots at all latrines and pavilions. In addition, as part of the new water system, the campground got a separate well, giving better water pressure and easier access to the water.
This campground offers four youth group sites which can accommodate groups of up to 25 or 30. However, the regular campsites accommodate from one to seven people. For a regular camp site, the cost is $11 per night from May through October, and $10 per night from November to April. And the cost of the youth group camping area are a $10 minimum or $1 per person.
There are general rules for the park. One, while groups of 25 or more are welcomed here and encouraged to use the park’s facilities, they are required to register in advance with the site office so the park will not be overcrowded and there won’t be any scheduling conflicts. Also, at least one responsible adult must be with each group of 15 minors. Two, pets must be on leashes at all times. Three, actions by nature can cause in closed roads and other facilities in the park. Lastly, people are cautioned to only "Take memories and leave footprints here".
Besides the general rules of the park, this park has several rules for their camping sites. These include registration, campsite occupants, shelters, vehicles, quiet time, visitors, the shower building, dishwashing/washing pets, having pets, tables and grills, chain saws, camp fires and refunds.
