The Princeville Resort in Kauai, HI, was spectacular. The food was phenomonal. The views were breathtaking. We awoke to a perfect rainbow every morning overlooking Hanalei Bay. The temperature was perfect. We arrived and went ziplining the very next day. It was set up by the resort, and it included a series of jumps off platforms that took your breath away. They were progressively more extreme and scary but exhilarating.

The next day, we embarked on a 90-minute horseback ride with views that looked like the edge of heaven. The horses and guides were very patient. The food was awesome. We had many choices at the resort or within a short driving distance to get to more great places. The hotel had a buffet-style seafood feast on our last night there. It was the most beautiful display of seafood that your heart could ever desire. Our kids went surfing one day and had a great experience. They had a professional surf guide who helped them achieve their goals and wanted to continue the lesson for the rest of the day.
