Capt. Mike's Glass Bottom Boat, the Best in Negril

I met Mike and his brother/1st mate Ricky a few years ago when I first started going to Negril. I was a newbie with NO snorkeling experience and he made every effort to ensure my comfort, safety and enjoyment. He even got into the water to give a personal tour of the reef - I have yet to see anyone else do that. Mike is probably one of the nicest guys on the 7-mile beach - Honest & Reliable. He will always steer you in the right direction and he looks out for the tourists' well being. I have been out on his boat many times and I look for him every time I come to Negril.

This year, my daughter accompanied me to Negril for the first time. Despite some mild jitters on her part, Capt. Mike was able to put her at ease and got her started snorkeling. By the third day she was getting quite proficient. Now she wants to buy her own equipment.

If you are interested in snorkeling over the reef or in caves, taking a sunset cruise to Ricks, or more, Mike is the guy to contact. [876-847-7690] And if you want to ride a wave runner or do something else, Mike can get you set up with reliable people at a good price. I can't say enough good things about him. Try him out and you will see!

My sister, myself and two friends are still in Negril as of this posting... you haven't experienced the beach until you've done a tour on Mike's Glass Bottom Boat... it's Excellent! You must have them take you to the little island in the distance for open fire lobster (you pick the lobster from this little cage and the fishermen will cook it up for you right there on the island... sit on a tree stump and eat the best lobster for $20... the coral reef is amazing, too. Grab Captain Mike and his brother Ricky and Willie (nephew) for a great tour right from the beach... one of the best parts of trip!

Mike and his brother came to pick us up promptly at 9am for our snorkeling trip. They took us to a wonderful location on the reef, where the water was shallow and in parts the reef even came to the surface of the water. It was a great trip. Their equipment they provided was far better than what we had brought, and the masks never leaked once. All in all, a great trip.
