Visit to Ottoman House

The 17th-century Ottoman house. This house, or museum, is located opposite to Muradiye School of Theology. It is commonly believed that it is the house in which Sultan Mehmet (the conquerer)was born, or another belief it's the house of Sultan Murad II.

The entrance of the two-storey house is through the garden on the west side. The house is of great interest because of the painted decoration typical of the period, the woodwork embellishing the ceilings, as well as wooden wardrobes and cupboards. These works are from the end of the 17th century, and the beginning of the 18th century.
