A great little museum in a small town. Geared for kids and adults.

For a family of three we paid $18 for admission. We were told it would take about 3 hours to get through. With our 8-year-old daughter who tends not to linger, it took about two. They have both historic, natural history, art, an aquarium, and science exhibits. Our daughter has taken an interest in Egyptian mummies, and they have a real one there along with other Egyptian artifacts.

There are many fun hands-on exhibits for children, centered on dinosaurs and an exhibit regarding nocturnal animals.

The art exhibits consisted of three large rooms with paintings and sculptures, some by local artists.

The aquarium was in the basement. It was small but the children were pretty fascinated by it.

Overall, it is pretty well done for a small community museum. The area is very friendly to the arts and this ties into that pretty well.

A good stop if you have grade-school aged children.
