Walking the Golden Gate Bridge

  • September 25, 2003
  • Rated 4 of 5 by stimey from Dillon, South Carolina
I just HAD to walk across the bridge. The locals told me that it swayed with the wind, but that you don't feel it. So true!! It was wonderful and not scary at all. A great photo opportunity but very windy, so hold onto your hat!!

Biking Over the Golden Gate Bridge

  • July 14, 2005
  • Rated 4 of 5 by Jawni Hingh from Brooklyn, New York
We rented bikes at this placed called Blazing Saddles, which has several locations in the Fisherman's Wharf area. We biked for about 4 hours -- started at Fisherman's Wharf and went along the bay and the beach, over the Golden Gate Bridge, and into Sausalito. We took the ferry back!

The Golden Gate Bridge is truly a magnificent wonder of engineering and architecture. It's sure to be the most photographed bridge of all time, spanning the San Francisco Bay in glorious triumph.

When you're looking at The Golden Gate Bridge from the Bay Bridge, it seems so insignificant, but when walking across it, you seem so insignificant. It's absolutely AMAZING!
