Description: Dedicated to the region’s most famous painter, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is home to the largest collection of the artist’s work in one single institution. The collections here represent a wide swath of O’Keeffe’s work, including her iconic flowers, bleached desert skulls, nudes, landscapes, cityscapes, still lifes, and abstracts, spanning the years from 1916 to 1980. Since it recently incorporates the collection of the Georgia O’Keeffe Foundation, the museum now holds over 1,000 of the artist’s works.
