Description

Located where the northern part of the city is just beginning, this art center owes its name to the famous Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Viteri. A permanent exhibition of his works explores the different periods of pictorial expression of the artist, who is considered to be an expressionist. His work includes abstract expressionism and expressionist landscapes. One of the rooms in this gallery is dedicated to one specific period of Oswaldo Viteri's work, in which he concentrates on bullfighting. He has also experimented with a neo-figurative style.
