Pricing is VERY CHEAP, considering how expensive amber is in the US. The same can be said for garnets. If you are purchasing, be aware that most vendors will give a 5-15% discount if you pay in cash (although they will not come forward with this information, unless you ask). Most will accept credit cards and Euros; US Dollars are popular and, amazingly enough, the vendors will do ALL conversion calculations freely and quickly. This is also a good place to see/buy Icons made by local artists--beautiful things and indicative of the religious feeling that permeates this country.
