Excellent Ties, Reasonable Prices, Great Gifts

My experience with Andrew's Ties was great. The clerk was quite cordial. They have a large selection. All the ties I saw were 100% silk. Prices start around 18 Euros (about $23 U.S.). All the ties bear a label that says "Andrew's Ties, Made in Italy, Milano." The shop is in the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle II and next to the Piazza del Duomo (plaza next to the cathedral). You must see the galleria and the cathedral when you go to Milan. Ties from the shop make great souvenirs and gifts. After I returned to the U.S., I called and ordered more ties for Christmas gifts from the Andrew's Ties shop in Philadelphia. They came with the same (Milano) label. Good service.

During a recent visit to Milan, I was shopping at Andrew's Ties and observed the Store Manager cuss out a customer and his wife for asking if they could view a particular style. The Manager actually used the F-bomb on the customer in front of several other people and told the guy to "go back to his country". This was the worst level of professionalism and etiquette I've witness from a store representative. There are plenty of reputable stores in Milan. Don't waste your time unless you are disparate for a $25 or $30 tie.
