Description
Not far from the Ruinas de Sao Paulo is this shop, which has one wall entirely devoted to Chinese wall hangings. These scrolls feature traditional motifs including beautiful flowers, serene mountain scenes and mythical animals. On the other side of the shop is a selection of locally produced oil paintings, popular with tourists, depicting ladies in traditional Chinese dress and other scenes reminiscent of the locality. Also available is a portrait painting service from either a live sitting or a photograph. For anyone pressed for time, portraits can be sent on by post after completion.
