Description: This museum was a tremendous disappointment, especially for my husband who engineers and designs security systems and is very interested in contemporary industrial design. What a letdown for him to discover about half of the exhibits were closed. We strongly feel that museums ahould reduce their prices accordingly during transitional times, or at least indicate by list which exhibits are closed so visitors can opt out. The main exhibit of Isamu Noguchi's works, mostly scupture, struck us as "far out" and the documentation provided very abstract. We couldn't recommend the half-museum we saw and suggest visitors ask before buying a ticket if all exhibits are open.
However, the area in which this museum is located is a fascinating one to explore with the nearby Hayes Galleria and trendy restaurants and apartments springing up in an old warehouse area.Just stroll Shad Thames north of the Tower Bridge!
