Description
As one drives towards Temple Fortune and the North Circular Road, College Farm reminds urban commuters of the pastoral idyll that was North London a few centuries ago. The small College Farm does not have any exotic animals, but instead has a collection of horses, cows, ducks, chickens and pigs. They specialise in rare breed cattle and shire horses. The open farm is a wonderful place to introduce young children to the animals they know as 'moo' from their storybooks. They also have the opportunity to touch them. It's a fabulous day out - bring some carrots for the horses!
College Farm also has special open days the first weekend of each month and during the summer which are like small scale fairs - minus the noisy rides.
Admission: £1.50 for adults, 75 pence for children and no charge for under 3's.
