This is a reconstructed Native American village at the south edge of Memphis, close to the Mississippi River. The original village was abandoned in 1500, but rebuilt after city workers found its remains in 1939. It is possible to see artifacts and well as dwellings, and to learn how people lived in this area more than 500 years ago.
