Few fragments of the Berlin Wall remain. You'll be able to see some of it at Checkpoint Charlie. This is a museum which gives detailed facts about the presence of the wall. Learn about the triumphant escapes and disastrous captures. It's very surprising to see how creative the easterners were. In one attempt, a secret compartment was carved out of the back of a car. The museum displays actual tools and equipment used to cross the wall. Reflect on how a concrete wall could divide a nation and change the world.
