Swimming with Sea Lions at Chankanaab

Believe it or not, we swam with a sea lion! Her name was Nena, and she is the loveliest and sweetest sea lion in this world. Don't call her "seal". The difference between a seal and a sea lion is that sea lions have ears, and they are able to stand on what looks like their feet. She was sooo lovely, and Alex, her traner, showed us some tricks and let us swim with her. THANK YOU AGAIN ALEX!

This is definitely the place where you want to bring your kids and have a GREAT time -- swimming with a sea lion was an absolutely amazing time! But there is more -- take a look at my next journal...

Chankanaab, a beautiful spot in the Mayan Riviera

Chankanaab is the only ecological park on the island, THE place to visit if you go to Cozumel. Bring your snorkels and get ready for a lot of fun.

Besides all of the beautiful fish, there is a Spanish cannon, a Mayan sculpture, and some other things that you will want to see in the deepest part of the sea.
