Adjacent to the boat basin is the Chamorro village (Farmers Market).
The buildings are spanish-colonial style, and among them are a variety of arts, gifts and crafts shops.
Restaurants there serve cuisine in Chamorro , Filipino, Japanese, Mexican, Greek and others.
Every Wednesday night from 5:30-9:30, there are ancient cultural dances, live bands and exhibits by crafters.
You will also see vendors selling 'betelnut'. It is a palm nut which is chewed. Try it, since you never will at a lot of other places.
