Chamorro Village (I Sengsong)

Description

Here, more than 40 shops are filled with local items representing the continuance of Chamorro culture in Guam. Look for the square slim lighthouse-like building, and freshly made traditional Chamorro treats, produce and the popular Betelnut (traditionally chewed by Chamorro's which provides cavity resistance). Handicrafts are sold here and you will find examples of weaving, wood-carved masks and animals, handmade dolls, jewelry and more. It offers a small aquarium onsite as well, with a display of many of the fish from just offshore. Also note the Wednesday Night Market celebration.
