My friend and her son just spent 5 days in Cancun. The very first thing they did was learn to surf. Uncle Gnarly picked them up at our resort and drove them to his surf shop. They only brought enough money to pay his fee (which was EXTREMELY reasonable), so he bought sandwiches, tons of water, and a candy bar. He even had extra sunscreen! I HAD TO TRY IT! When I went, He lent me a surf shirt and we went out to the beach. My friend's son, who is 8, went first and Uncle Gnarly was fantastic with him. He was actually able to surf on his first try!! When it was my turn, the junior instructor towed me out and I surfed!! I wiped out of couple times, but that just added to the excitement. He spent more time with us than we originally expected. We had the time of our lives! I cannot wait to get back out there! I would HIGHLY recommend Uncle Gnarly's surf school for anyone that wants to learn how to surf! He was absolutely amazing! Even if you've never thought about learning before, try it with Uncle Gnarly!! He clearly is passionate about surfing and wants everyone to experience it like he does. He is very patient and has such great energy you just want to try harder next time. It is obvious to all that he absolutely LOVES what he does and isn't only interested in making money. He wants everyone to fall in love with surfing, which I have! A+++++++++
