Casa Loma (it means Hill House in Spanish) is a mansion-turned-museum that attracts thousands of visitors each year in Toronto. With its Gothic Revival architecture, Casa Loma has been a notable attraction with both locals and foreigners. In its long history, the mansion has been both a hotel and a nightclub, but now is open to the public as a museum. As the residence of Canadian nobleman Sir Henry Pellatt, the house has been carefully restored to resemble how it was originally decorated in the early 1900’s. The house is open daily, and guided tours are available.
