Description
The wooden panels of mahogany that cover the balconies and the stone walls reveal the age of this old town house. Although it has been restored, it still has part of the original roof, some walls, doors and the oven where gold and silver were once smelted. In the central patio there is still the cistern in which rain water was stored, and at the foot of the windows are peepholes through which the occupants could look outside without being seen. The Colonial History Museum is located in this house.
