International brand name spirits, perfumes, children's toys and electrical goods are on sale duty free to traveling international passengers in the airport departure lounge. This may be the only place in Laos where Cuban cigars, French wines and Mickey Mouse backpacks are on sale under the same roof. Passengers can take this last opportunity to pick up cans of Beerlao, CD-ROMs of Lao fonts for their computer, Lao coffee and small souvenirs. Sales are in US dollars only.
