Broadway at the Beach has a shopping center, restaurants, mini-golf, aquarium, and more. Most of all, it is shopping, everything from local stores to national chains such as Gap and Yankee Candle. Broadway at the Beach covers a lot of ground - you will need to pace yourself if you intend to cover it all in one day.
Dragon's Lair mini-golf can be found there (wheelchair friendly!), as well as Ripley's Aquarium, the Imax theater, and several cinemas. BATB surrounds a lake populated by large fish and ducks, which is crossed by a paddleboat. Shops and restaurants are located on both sides of the lake. On the north side there is also a nightclub district, crowned by the Hard Rock Cafe. Small boats are also for rent for fun on the lake - great for all but the smallest kids.
My favorite part of the day is to park my wheelchair near one of the bridges and feed the ducks. They are very friendly! It's also a great place to people watch.
