Overland Park, Kansas
May 3, 2002
This trail takes approximately 1 hour to walk in, view the area and walk out. It is as easy as walking the trails in the more promoted areas but gives you a more natural feel of the thermal activity contained in the area.
The are no geysers on this trail but there are a couple of boiling mud pots which create a different and interesting view.
This trail is walked by enough people that you won't feel isolated like you can on the back country trails. Comfortable shoes such as tennis shoes are fine. Backpacks and hiking boots are unneccessary.
