Hiking to waterfalls

We went on several hikes to waterfalls, in the area, and found the Brandy Wine falls the most impressive. The hike was easy, and not very long.

There was another one in the Garabaldi Park, which was about a 2.5km in each direction. We were expecting a much harder hike. It wound up and down, along the river bank, but was not overly difficult. I would class it as a light to moderate hike.

The falls at the end of the trail was impressive in the amount of water flowing over it, but it was not as high a drop as the Brandy Wine.

There are maps available all over whistler, which can point you in the right direction. You need a car to drive south of Whistler to get you to the parking area where your hike will be.

Beautiful waterfall area well worth the short hike. This can be done in about 1 hour or less each way. 3 occasional walking adults were slightly winded on this walk but it is not hard and is doable. No wheelchair accessabilty though, other waterfalls are south of whistler. An easy 2 or 3 hour activity at the most. I have beautiful pictures.

Some of the prettiest trails I've been on, but watch out for the bikers, bladers, and skateboarders! One of the few trail systems I've been on where everyone truly shares the road. It's free, with some fantastic views of the lakes, the mountains, and the town.
