Sea kayaking off the northern tip of Vancouver Island in Queen Charlotte Strait is a wonderful experience. Exciting and relaxing at the same time, this is a great way to experience some of the most remote areas of British Columbia. The trips are easy for beginners and exciting enough for seasoned kayakers. My trip departed from Port Hardy and consisted of 7 days of kayaking and camping on uninhabited islands in the srait. I brought a sleeping bag and clothing, and Northern lLghts provided everything else. The food, prepared by the guides, was unbelievable. The most memorable part of my trip was kayaing with Pacific White-Sided Dolphins under a full moon...not your everyday experience!
