This small historic town is located about 30 miles North of Tallahassee on Hwy. 27. The downtown area is only about 3 or 4 blocks, but it's filled with antiques and specialty shops bursting at the seams.

You can easily spend an entire day here poking around looking for hidden treasures. You'll find everything from high-priced restored furniture to depression-era glassware to fine china and silver.

I have a weakness for vintage clothing and old costume jewelry. Something I don't find a lot of here, so I was in hog heaven when I came across a shop that specialized in estate jewelry and clothing.

Not all is antiquish. You'll also find a good selection of art works, including hand-painted furniture and a very impressive array of unique decorative pieces.

Each shop has its own personality and is filled with items to match, so you're not likely to see the same things in every store.

TIP: If you're not into Florida State football, that's the perfect time to make a little trip to Havana. You'll practically have the entire town to yourself while everyone else is either at the game or glued to a television.
