With six incredibly diverse museums in the heart of the downtown area, St. Petersburg has something for everyone. In addition to the museums mentioned above, there is the Museum of Fine Arts, which offers more traditional artwork and includes a comprehensive art collection by such artists as Monet, Rodin, Bellows, and O’Keeffe. The Florida Holocaust Museum, features the only permanent Holocaust art exhibit in the U.S. The Arts Center, a fine arts gallery, offers classes for adults and children. The best part is that all of these museums are relatively close to each other—and you can always take the trolley.
