Viewing Joshua Trees

After leaving Snow Canyon, we drove through the Joshua Tree Forest. It is not really a forest and there are not any trees. A Joshua Tree is really a tall, branched yucca. The forest is very arid with lots of Joshua Trees. There are also a lot of cacti in certain areas. It is not beautiful but very unusual and interesting. Definitely worth the trip.
