Without question, the most spectacular drive I have ever driven. The shear cliffs, ocean, and vast landscape will leave lasting impressions and a desire to drive this road over and over. Be sure to drive with a friend because the road is very narrow and dangerous. Take turns driving and riding and be sure to stop often. Make the trip from San Luis to Monterey in a full day. Rest often and take in the magical views. Sometimes whales can be seen from the road during the whale's migration. A must do if anywhere near San Luis.
